CARPOOLING DOs and DON'TS
DO
- Communicate effectively! The Messenger is always available, and you can exchange contact information as you get to know each other more.
- Be responsible. Tell your carpooling partner if you are going to be late, or if you can’t make it as a driver for the next day.
- Make friends! Driving is much more enjoyable with good company.
- Be flexible with your arrangements: your calendar is always up for editing!
- Make your preferences known. (e.g. You absolutely detest eating in the car; do inform your partner about that)
DON'T
- Make a habit out of being late.
- Be rude. They ARE your fellow car-poolers.
- Be irresponsible. Be where you are supposed to be on time, or it would mean trouble for everyone involved.
